POETIC TEXTS

The following text pieces were assembled from phrases that were lifted from transcriptions of interviews with participants about their dreams. After a close reading of the interview transcriptions, a selection of phrases were lifted from the text and reassembled into a new poetic form. The reassembly of these phrases allows for new meanings to unfurl. These digitally hand-lettered texts were exhibited alongside illustrations that were made in response to the phrases, allowing for unexpected resonances and disc0ntinuities to emerge in the space between image and text.
