Craft Beer: Intergalactic IPA

Personal Project! Here’s my first attempt at designing some craft beer packaging - 'Intergalactic IPA' by the (made up) Virtue brewery (Virtue was the name of my great great grandmother)

INSPIRATION

I was inspired by the trend in illustrated craft beer packaging, and wanted to make something that suggested escapism, fun and fantasy.

METHOD

The planet was created with black India ink and a sponge, and scanned, then the colours were manipulated in Photoshop. The celestial shapes and textures were created with colour-manipulated scans of marbled paper. The fonts were downloaded from Google Fonts, and the whole package was mocked up on a can template that I purchased from a creative assets website.
