Book Cover: Sprituality and Speech Therapy
An illustration for the book cover of a toolkit for working with spirituality in speech and language therapy, helping those who have experienced loss of speech (aphasia) to communicate about their spiritual experiences.
Inspiration:
This image represents some of the aspects of this toolkit which used the central metaphor of a well to represent an exploration of spiritual depth. ⠀
Method:
The water of the well uses textures created using marbled paper, and the figures started out as rough ink drawings made with a sponge (my favourite tool!) which were neatened up; all colour was added digitally.
